Here at OLPC, we give donation a new meaning through our Give 1 Get 1 [G1G1] program. For the price of HK$3380 for two XOs, you will become the proud owner of one and the other XO will be donated to an underprivileged child in Sichuan. Through G1G1, you are not donating just another sum of money, but a solid XO and an education opportunity that will change the life of a child.

From that moment onwards, every time your little green machine blinks, a child from a prefabricated temporary campus in Sichuan is also enjoying the fun and joy that comes from this wonderful learning tool.

G1G1 – Donation

OLPC is not purely a high- technology project, it is in effect an education project.

Through the G1G1 program, for the price of two XOs, you get one and a child from our recipient projects (in this case, Sichuan) will get one at the same time. The collaboration of all the talents of volunteers from around the world and the devotion of IT companies, like AMD, Quanta… etc ensured that the XO could be manufactured at cost. XO is a non-profit making product and is not intended to be sold at the commercial market.

G1G1 is the only official channel for your gateway to the XO.

Here at OLPC, our team of software development volunteers will continue to provide free updates for all the XO users. The day you and your recipient child started to own the XO is just the start of a fun and loving learning journey with us.
